A. Our clients are generally more independently minded and don€™t want to bossed or ushered around in a large €˜herd€™. They want to get to see the iconic sites of Andalusia and they don€™t want to waste time or money, hiring cars, planning routes or getting stressed out doing city driving in a foreign land. They want to be given the background information on the places of Andalusia and Southern Spain that they will visit but they don€™t want to be lectured to. They want their tour guide to be more of a friend than a driver for the short time that they are here, they want to be able to relax in the evenings, and above all, they want to be given a 100% professional service.

Q. Is the tour only available for 7 days/ 6 nights?

A. No. The flexibility that we can offer means that we can customize your tour for as long or as short as you like.

Q. When are the tour holidays available?

A. The tour holidays are available all year round.

Q. Can I choose a tour just for myself and my partner?

A. Yes, we are pleased to arrange private tours of Andalusia and Southern Spain. There is however an additional cost for this service

Q. What time in the morning do the tours start and when do they return in the evenings?

A. To enable our clients to get the most out of each tour day, we like to try to be in the vehicle for 9.30am each morning and aim to have you back at your accommodation for between 6.30pm and 7.30pm, however should the clients like to make any changes to these times, then we can accommodate this.

Q. Do I need to be able to speak Spanish to take the tour?

A. No, you don€™t need to be able to speak Spanish to get the maximum out of our tours. Our guides are bilingual in Spanish and English and accompany the clients up to the lunch hour each day. However, even if you do have just a little grasp of Spanish, you will be surprised how far that will take you and we constantly find that our clients get a great enjoyment out of €˜trying to speak the lingo€™.

Q. How can I book a tour in Andalusia, Southern Spain?

A. It€™s simple! You just have to make contact by email and let us know what ideas you have. We will then work out a tour of Andalusia and Southern Spain to fit your requirements and agree the details of your tour in writing by return. We will then ask you at that point to confirm the acceptance of the tour in writing and to make your deposit payment.

Q. How and when can we pay for the tour?

A. Again, it€™s simple! Once we have agreed the details of your tour in writing you can then make your deposit and balance payments to our PAYPAL account. Alternative methods of payment can be arranged, but only with prior agreement.

Q. Are the tours suitable for children?

A. We have had children as young as 11 years old on the 5 and 7 day tours and they have thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Should you have children of a younger age than this please advise us from the outset and this will enable us to tailor the tour to suit.

Q. We are unsure about eating out in Spain. Can we be given some advice?

A. Yes, our guides will be only too happy to advise you in this matter and can help you with your orders at lunch time, should you require.

Q. Do I have to arrive in Malaga airport or can I arrive elsewhere in Andalusia?

A. We suggest Malaga airport as the collection point as it is the main international airport in Andalusia, however should you choose to arrive by train or indeed fly into Seville airport, we will be only too happy to collect you from there.

Q. I am continuing to tour Spain after Andalusia, where can I be dropped off?

A. Depending on your ongoing travel plans after the tour, we will endeavor to make your departure day as easy as possible. To enable us to do this we ask that you advise us as early as possible of the details of your departure.

Q. Is there a lot of walking during the tour?

A. That depends on the tour that you take but there is not an onerous amount of walking on either the Three City tour or the Spirit of Andalusia tour, as we park as close as possible to the historic centre of the towns/cities that we visit.

Q. Are there any restrictions on who can take the tour?

A. Our tours are not suitable for people with certain physical disabilities.

Q. What happens if it rains?

A. The 300 days of sunshine that Andalusia gets each year means that rain is not a common problem, however should you visit during the month of February or March you may well experience some days with rain. A good site to check the weather forecast is www.eltiempo.es . A light rain jacket or umbrella is usually sufficient during these days.

Q. How many other people will be on the tour with me?

A. That depends on the bookings that we have but we rarely tour with more than six people, unless it is a family group.

Q. What clothes should I bring?

A. This depends on the time of the year that you choose to visit. Ask us again when you make your booking and we will advise you accordingly.

Q. Can you arrange a totally bespoke tour in Andalusia, Southern Spain for me?

A. Yes we can. You just have to tell us what you want to do when you are in Andalusia and we will build the perfect tour for you; places, activities, hotels€¦. you just name it.

Q. What languages are spoken by your drivers/guides?

A. Our guides speak both English and Spanish.

Q. Will I be accompanied by a guide every minute of the tour?

A. No. Our tours of Andalusia in Southern Spain are designed to give you the benefit of our local knowledge up to lunch time each day, after which we allow you to choose when and where you want to have lunch and how you will spend your afternoon. Our guide will provide you with his mobile phone number on the first day of the tour so that help or advice will always only be a phone call away.

Q. Will I be provided with guide books or maps on the tour?

A. Guide books are not provided as our guide will tell you all the information relevant to the tour each day and because most people tend to arrive with a guide books anyway. Our guide will however provide you with a tourist map.

Q. Are entrance fees to museums, cathedrals, monuments, etc. included in the price?

A. No, clients choose which museums, etc, that they wish to visit, so the tour price does not include any entrance fees.

Q. Is there a minute by minute format, and will I be rushed around?

A. Our tours of Andalusia, Southern Spain recognize that you have chosen not to be part of the coach tour €˜herd€™, so whilst we do have a preset time table, designed to make sure that you get the most out of the tour each day, there is most definitely no minute by minute format and we have flexibility built in.

Q. What type of client is best suited to the private villa option for the tour?

A. The private villa has all mod cons and is best suited for clients who like to relax in the evening and to eat in, and who also like a good deal of privacy. With the 40 square metre pool, bar/bbq area and quiet terraces it is just as ideal for couples as it is for family groups. It is however a private villa and not a hotel, this should be borne in mind. There are a couple of bar/restaurants within easy walking distance and the centre of town is only 4km away where you can find an abundance of places to choose from for your evening meal. Travel to and from town can be easily arranged.

Q. Where is your Villa in Andalusia located?

A. The private villa is located close to the geographical centre of Andalusia in the village of El Palomar 4km from the town of Puente Genil. This makes it a perfect location from which to explore Andalusia in all directions.

Q. What level of service can I expect from €˜YOUR ANDALUSIA€™?

Q. What does €˜YOUR ANDALUSIA€™ expect from its clients?

A. We expect our clients to be open minded, courteous and respectful of other people and other cultures.

Q. Can I mix and match the sites and the cities/towns that I wish to visit?

A.  At €˜Your Andalusia€™, we pride ourselves in our flexibility, which means that you can mix and match your tour destinations. However, if your chosen dates coincide with a tour already scheduled then we will have to ask for flexibility on your part, to fit in with the scheduled tour or to provide alternate tour dates.

Q. Can I visit Huelva and Almeria on the tour?

A. In a word, Yes. However you must bear in mind the size of Andalusia, and our central location, so if you want to visit these cities you need to be prepared for long journeys or to construct the tour to make over night stays in these cities. The best thing to do is to let us know what you want to see and where you want to visit in the first instance, and we will advise and construct your tour with your agreement.
